Day 13
When i found out that today we would be the last day we were working in the library, i didnt waste a minute, writing more notes as fast as i could. I finished with the new book i had used in the previous lessons, so i grabbed another book quickly searching for any other information i could find on government and law. It was pretty easy to find and i worked pretty well. Next week we will be going to the multimedia lab to do our research on the internet , which i dont think is as good as researching in books. I find more useful and detailed information in books. In my own time i will be working on my work to get some more notes on religion.

Today's work was fine. I worked on writing more notes for religion. I used the same book for social class and surprisingly found alot more information than i did when i used the other book for taking my first notes on religion. The new book im using now is so much easier to use and will start using that book for my research for my charcteristics. I still need to work harder and work more efficiantly on my research. To be honest i think i could have worked better today if i wern't so tired, but hopefully tomorow i will have more energy to work.

More and more work was getting done as i took down my notes at the library with the new book i was using that helped me get more information on social class. I piled up some more notecards that i put into the social class pocket in my folder. I think i did well today seeing that i had quite alot of notes down for social class today and now need to move on to getting more notes down for another characteristic like religion.

Today I was glad to finally see some good work in progress as i started filling my note cards with more information on social class. From now on I will be using the same book i used today because i found it very helpful with alot of contents on what i needed. Next week i will be writing some more notes on the other characteristics since i have caught up with social class. I need to make sure i have enough note cards for all three of my characteristics.

Today i have progressed alot in the library. I found a perfect new book on social class. Just what i was looking for. I took down alot of lots and already ended up with three new notecards.

Today in the library i took the same books i had to write my bibliography. I also tried to look for more information on social class, but without any luck found my self reading information similar to my notes, I figured that all the good books on ancient Greece were taken before me, so i wouldnt find anything useful or anything based on soacail calss. this was the most difficult characteristic to research on. Tommorow I need to make sure i try different books and find the information i need on social class. I dont think i did really well today and didnt really accomplish anything from getting the same books that i had chosen last time.

Today I looked for more books about social class because of the lack of information i have, but without any luck just found the same basic information that was similar to the ones i already took down. The other books didn't help me much either except just explaining breifly about it. I think I need to add more note cards, which i will do as soon as i'm done with social class. Overall I think i could have worked better in class today if i didnt stick to one book the whole lesson trying to find information on social class. I need to make sure to use different books next time to do my research on social class and get it over with to move on to finding more information on my other characteristics.

Once we reached the library, I quickly grabbed my books and started research. I decided to search for some information on social class. Unfortunatley I didnt find exactly what i was looking for, but found some basic information based on social class. Today we met again in the library. Wasting no time at all, i grabbed by books that i found useful and immediatley started my work. I finished religion so today i focused on Government and laws. I found my information quite easily, finding out alot of information and also learning new things i never new about! I was satistfied with my efficiency today, but was concerned that there was not alot of information about social class, while looking through the books i had. Hopefully when i am done with government and laws i can find the information i need on social class.

I choose three different books on ancient Greece that caught my eye,they looked very interesting and i was sure had helpful resourse. I found alot of information on religion, so i started with that first. I had almost finished taking notes on religion, finding information quickly, but not with enough notecards to be done, but for now it will have to do because it's quality is more important than the quantity. I felt that i accomplished alot today and with the variety of books i have on ancient Greece I can tell that i will have just enough information.

For the whole lesson we stayed in the library researching books on our civilizations. Mr. Sparks gave us a sheet on how to write a bibliography for a book in the library. During class I finished writing down all the information i need for religion. I also wrote some information on government and laws. The time flew by quickly this lesson and i felt like there was more i could have done if i hadnt wasted so much time on writing more information on religion.

Mr. Sparks was absent so, it was just Miss Fletcher with us today. Today we needed to head to library were we sat down and watched the librarian show us how to write a bibliography for the books that we would use in our essay. We were going touse our books first to get our information and resourses for the essay. We used Easy Bib, a website that the librarian showed us to make our bibliographies. The librarian had already took out all the books we needed on ancient civilizations and kept them neatly in seperate shelves for each civilization. We were not allowed to take our books home, so we needed to make sure that we had all our notes and information written down. We had some time to decide which civilizations we wanted and to start taking down some notes to begin with. I took a look at all the choises of civilizations we could chose from, thinking about which civilization would suit my characteristics best and i was mostly interested in learning something new, like about ancient Greece. I took a look at the books and finally decided that my civilization would be ancient Greece.

We came up with a bunch of different questions on Social Class, Art and Architecture and Government and laws. Today we needed to come up with our own guiding questions on two or at least one different characteristics of civilizations. I chose Religion, Social Class, and Gowvernment + Laws. I think i could have done better in coming up with questions. Trying to think of good guiding qauestions was both an easy and hard task.
